“Dirty Jobs” Special Recipe

Michael Pohuski certainly had fun in the studio that day making sure everyone and everything looked "authentically" dirty for this Discovery Channel promo. Several talent were photographed representing such smelly jobs as Salmon Carcass Counter Bug Breeder, Mule Logger and Poo Pot Technician.
Michael has been kind enough to share a special recipe with us. Enjoy!

Poo Recipe
8 Large Boxes Brownie mix (Store Brands OK but Duncan Hines provides more luster)
3 Cans ready made Betty Crocker Chocolate Frosting
1 gallon of water (Tap Ok)
1 large container of Oregano (Restaurant size)
1 bag of hay (Southern States sells hay but you must buy an entire bale - helps if you know a farmer)
In a five gallon bucket, pour 2 boxes of Brownie mix and stir in water to desired firmness – stir with a 30” length of 1”x 3” pine board – progressively add each box of brownie mix and appropriate volume of water to maintain consistency and desired firmness to create the perfect cow patty. Reserve one box brownie mix for end dry dusting if desired.
Pour in half of the oregano and stir - add more oregano to achieve desired fiber texture.
Mix in 2 handfuls of hay - best to do this with both hands, keeping fingers spread wide to facilitate a more uniform mix.
Finished mixture should ooze through fingers when clinching fist.
To achieve Cow Farmer bucket prop, arrange mixture in an old galvanized bucket (dented and beat up if possible) several hand fulls at a time. Plop mixture loosely into bucket adding more hay if desired till bucket is overflowing. If surface is too shiny, dust loosely with spare dry mix.
Effect is very convincing - you may not want to lick your fingers, but it’s finger lickin good poo!
